Fitzgerald – whose books include “The Tao of Intuitive Luck,” “The Alien in the Mirror,” and “The Hundred-Year Lie” – delved into topics bridging science, spirituality and the mysteries of existence. One of the central themes of the discussion was Fitzgerald’s book “The Alien in the Mirror,” which examines the possibility that humanity’s origins may be extraterrestrial—or at the very least, that our species has a deep, interconnected relationship with cosmic intelligence.

Fitzgerald proposed that when humans encounter the “UFO phenomenon,” they may, in fact, be encountering an aspect of themselves. He explained there are three meanings behind this idea and the first is: If mankind was seeded here by another civilization, then they are the aliens or their descendants.

“When we look at the phenomenon, we’re basically searching for ourselves because we are the aliens. We are certainly the progeny of the aliens,” Fitzgerald said. The newspaper and magazine journalist added that the UFO phenomenon may also act as a psychological mirror, reflecting humanity’s deepest fears and hidden potential.

More intriguingly, he connected this possibility to neuroscience, suggesting that “mirror neurons”—brain cells linked to empathy and compassion—may play a role in how humans interact with these enigmatic phenomena.

Fitzgerald took note that many abductees report becoming more compassionate after their experiences. He added this suggests that encounters may activate human capacity for empathy in ways they don’t yet understand.

Global consciousness, AI and the threat of mass control

The conversation shifted toward the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential to merge with – or dominate – human consciousness. Adams, who is developing decentralized AI technology through his Brighteon.ai project, expressed concern about the rise of centralized AI systems that could strip humanity of autonomy.

Fitzgerald referenced futurist Ray Kurzweil’s concept of the singularity – a theoretical point where AI surpasses human intelligence – but questioned whether machine intelligence could ever possess a soul. He then asked if AI doesn’t have the potential for a soul, then does it mean extraterrestrial visitors might also lack it.

Some theorists, he explained, argue that UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) may not be biological beings at all, but AI constructs sent by advanced civilizations to observe or influence humanity. Adams pointed to the pervasive suppression of human potential through processed foods, pesticides, pharmaceuticals and media manipulation. He stated that humanity is being chemically, spiritually and cognitively suppressed by either demonic forces, AI or corrupt human power structures.

Manifestation, neuroscience and quantum reality, plus the path forward

A key takeaway from the discussion was the emerging science behind manifestation – the idea that human intention, amplified through focus, can influence physical reality.

Fitzgerald cited “Mind Magic” by Stanford University neuroscientist Dr. James Doty, which explores how meditative states, repetition and emotional clarity can activate subconscious programming. Adams added that intention gains power through multimodal expression—thinking, speaking and even sketching out ideas.

The Health Ranger shared that when he physically drew a project, it becomes real, and he added there is something about engaging multiple faculties that makes thought into reality.

The conversation also touched on the Global Consciousness Project, which monitored random number generators during major world events, detecting statistical anomalies that suggested collective human attention could influence randomness – a concept echoing quantum mechanics’ observer effect.

Fitzgerald ended on an optimistic note, emphasizing that individual empowerment—through spiritual growth, clean living and conscious intent—could shift humanity toward a brighter future.

The investigative reporter pointed out that enlightenment isn’t just a spiritual term because it means letting the light in and people must ask questions that would enable them to rise above the distractions. Adams agreed, adding that people should not be obsessed over things that don’t matter while ignoring their true potential.
